Ursus Wehrli, or the importance of being compulsively tidy

Swiss artist and comedian Ursus Wehrli visually organizes things. Check his latest book, “The Art of Clean Up”.

He became famous thanks to his “tidying-up” of artworks by Chagall, Seraut, or Paul Klee. With Pollock he got to the hilarious solution of returning all of the pain to its original paint cans. Watch his TED talk in 2006.

  2. I found this both extremely funny and intriguing; the notion that order can be imposed on essentially random events is appealing. My colleagues and I slightly worried that we found the colour arranged cars visually pleasing ….
