Franka Hörnschemeyer is an artist who lives and works in Berlin. Her plan drawings lie between graphic sketches and architectural projection: they look like textures, but they also reveal the potential of constructing a movable space, fragmented and continuous at the same time. Some of her installations materialize these isotropic spaces.
In the artist’s words:
“To me a space represents a construction made up of social, historical, and psychological relationships that are constantly in an interplay with people. I examine these relationships and reorganize them.”
