Anna Deschamps is a set designer, modeler and puppet maker, currently based in Melbourne.
Here is our selection among her many remarkable creations.
2 puppets (a 3 years old boy of 90cm and a 7 years old girl of 1,2m) for “L’hiver, quatre chiens mordents mes pieds et mes mains” by Philippe Dorin, (puppet theatre). The process of realization includes sculpting (plasticine and foam), mold making (plaster and silicone), casting (papier maché), armature building (wood and metal), costume making and painting.
She worked in the puppet department for the renowned movie “Fantastic M. Fox“by Wes Anderson in 2009 and later for the first galician feature film made in stop-motion animation: O apostolo.
