The Mechanical-Architectural World of Stijn Jonckheere

January 16, 2017 by Fosco Lucarelli 5 Comments

Stijn Jonckheere, a Belgian self-titled “experimental architect”, works on the brink of architecture, illustration and graphic design. His working method starts from personal interpretation of real-life locations which are then translated into detailed black and white drawings.
The technological features of the drawn artifacts are exposed revealing buildings that look like machines, carefully studied in their mechanical and structural functioning.
