The loose and lost walled city of Kowloon

Kowloon Walled City was a densely populated, largely ungoverned settlement in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Described by Steven Poole as an “oasis of political and creative freedom” the walled city was extraordinarily overpopulated and housed gambling, prostitution and drug dealing until its demolition in 1994.

We have already wrote about it in one of the 2007/08 series of articles on SecondLife artifacts (here)
