Katarzyna Dyjewska is a Polish artist and architect. With her paintings, she represents imposing buildings that occupy most of the canvas and exclude the human presence or relegate it to a minimal role. Geometrical patterns, symmetry, and sequences guide the compositions conferring some abstract qualities to the subjects. On the other hand, the materiality of the buildings is highlighted through linear textures and color contrasts.
