Free space in Barcelona, Quaderns #83, 1971

September 18, 2011 by Fosco Lucarelli 2 Comments

Translated by Socks:

(Los espacios libres en Barcelona)

Hotel for congressmen, ICSID, Fernando Bendito, Carlos Ferrater, José Prada, arquitectos” (Instant City)
pp. 85-88

Reproposed on Quaderns #262, 2011:
In this number we address the issue of infrastructure at a time when there has been a dysfunction between the rate of production of architecture and the rate of its use. We wanted to recover architectures able to deal with this dysfunction, such as in the Instant City in 1971.
