Two former students of ours, at the Atelier we teached in with Luca Galofaro two years ago, (dedicated to “Religion”), Céline and Pierre-Louis proved to have a fine architectural and artistic sensibility.
We’d like to propose here on Socks a series of hand drawn cross-sections they created for the final review of their project, a long and monumental slab in a Venice island where rooms are voids “excavated” in concrete and arranged along a path which symbolically identifies a spiritual journey through the elaboration of mourning.

the drawings can be a little bit better, but the idea is wonderful and the plan is simply a stroke of genius.
