Arnar Ásgeirsson’s Living Sections

March 15, 2015 by Mariabruna Fabrizi Leave a Comment

Icelandic artist Arnar Ásgeirsson creates narrative works employing disparate materials and techniques, from video to installation and animations. The drawings presented here show a sliced apartment building seen from two different viewpoints. The perspectives are executed in black and white and are carefully filled with characters drawn with a naive touch. The building itself is used as a narrative device, in order to keep together several micro-stories ranging from the surreal to the mundane.
